Training

It has been some days since I last wrote. I have been very busy with training, but I do have a few things to note. I still have not been able to find any further information about the secret group. The tavern owner knew very little, nothing more than rumors and stories. It would be best for me to forget even hearing most of what he said as it is nothing more than tales and useless information that could have someone looking in the wrong places. They could quite possibly be rumors started to keep people like me off their tracks.

On to the subject of training I have been working hard at my weapon skills, and at this time I am becoming fairly skilled in the use of the great axe. I also spent some time exploring the surrounding areas. One of the guards needed me to look into the disappearance of a child that he believed the orcs had taken. I tracked down the orcs and was able to rescue the child with the help of another adventurer in the area. *scribbled* what was his name? The guards promoted me to rank 2 and have given me the ability to take on some more difficult quests, though I have chosen not to at this time.

I have decided that the orcs are a plague on all the races of the land and decided to purge them from their camp in Ghelsba. I destroyed a large number of the orcs but there seems to always be another to take it's place. I would have continued my slaughter on their kind but I felt that I had nothing further to gain and there was a number of other adventurers just like me destroying the orcs.

After the orcs I decided to go back to the dunes, I had been there briefly once before but decided it was to hot and I don't like getting sand in my armor, to train further. I visited the town there and met up with some adventurers to clear out the local pests and goblins. On one of my hunting excursions I met Nerade a Ninja of the Taru. He is also a member of Ethereal. I was able to learn much from him. He showed me how to perform weapon skill chains and helped further my combat abilities. He was a cute little taru like all of their kind, odd though he would look at me weird from time to time then say he was looking at a slug. The slug is some weird pet that he had on his shoulder half the time. He always seemed to be stuffing his mouth full of jerky as well. The jerky is good but I wonder how someone so small could eat so much.

I have heard about a quest I can embark on that will teach me the secrets of using two jobs, the second job is apparently called a sub job and since it is hard enough to use one job to it's full potential the second one can only be at partial skill. This makes sense sometimes it is hard for me to look at my notes and walk down the street at the same time. I could hardly imaging performing two of my jobs at full potential at once. Even being able to harness a small amount of one of my other jobs is a blessing and will give me much more versatility. *scrawled writing* Solana said he would help with this quest when the times comes remember to ask him *
