I stayed at the tavern to long the night before, and unfortunately inebriated myself. While I was drinking I had my only sword from the old man stolen, it is a good thing it was a rusty piece of junk, I think he had sold all of his good equipment to pay for his booze habit. Speaking of which I think his habit may have rubbed off on me which is not a good thing. I also seemed to have lost my coin purse and what little equipment I carried with me in my small bag, mostly junk and easily replacable. The tavern owner wasn't to happy when I couldn't pay. I was able to work out a deal he would cover what I owed but I would have to bring him some rabbit hides. This is good, he also agreed to pay me some Gil for each hide, he was either charmed with my good looks or felt sorry for me. Could have been my luck again as he let me know that I shouldn't be so openly talking about searching for people of secret organizations that whisk people away with no trace. I think he might know something. Something else I find interesting as I write this entry is there always seems to be blank pages in the back of this book my father had, yet no matter how many pages I write the book never seems to get any bigger. There is a number of pages I still can not decipher, also to the people I have show the pages to they see completely different writing, most of the time it is some random legend or folklore. I need to find someone well versed in the arcane to look at the book, but I am afraid of what the writing might say and who to trust.
Back to the rabbits, I registered myself as a red mage and went out hunting that evening and was able to get a few of the hides needed but decided to call it an early evening and headed over to the residential area to get a residence. A moogle wanted to give me the finer points of the house, I was to tired to listen to him/her and passed out on the floor. Besides the tavern owner never said when I had to get the hides to him. I am still trying to decide on my registration of job, the old man had trained me in the basics of the classes. He kept hinting about specialized jobs, or would let some information slip when he was drunk but I couldn't ever get any details from him. In any case I did hear the moogle blabbing about how he could change my job registration for me so it doesn't seem to be a big deal to do. I will go out again tonight hunting for rabbits I would like to get this over with as soon as possible. Chasing after rabbits isn't really my idea of a good time.
